Port de Rat (Pass)

To get to the starting point, take the CG-3 road towards Ordino-Arcalís, until the end of the road, in the resort itself.   From the La Coma d'Arcalís restaurant, there is a wide track that goes up to the tunnel of Port de Rat Pass (2,360 m), where we can park our car. This unfinished tunnel was a project that was to connect Andorra and France. The trail climbs the channel and zigzags up to Port de Rat Pass, the border with France that will give us a fabulous view over the two countries.   We return the same way.

    Note: During the summer months, the road is closed to vehicular traffic during the morning, from the end of June to mid-September, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. but it can be accessed by the Tristaina cable car. You can check the timetables and prices at: https://ww1.ordinoarcalis.com
