  • To reach the starting point, take the CG-3 road towards Ordino-Arcalís, until km 18. In a few metres, we take the CS-370 road to the car park of the Vall de Sorteny Natural Park, where we find the park's information booth and leave in the direction of the Borda de Sorteny Mountain Refuge.

On this itinerary, we will see the “Estripagec” metal sculptures, a sculptural series made up of five great totem poles which are part of Andorra’s architectural heritage, the Botanical Gardens where we can observe around 300 species of flora and the Borda de Sorteny mountain refuge.

Right next to the refuge we find the path that takes us up to the Planell del Quer where the Grau de la Llosa viewpoint is located, an undeniably appealing observation spot at an altitude of 2,035 m.

Here you can relish a moment of tranquillity to connect with nature, listen to the songbirds such as the European Crested Tit, the Cole Tit, the Dunnock, the Little Wren or the Iberian Green Woodpecker and admire the flight of the majestic Golden Eagle or the Short-Toed Eagle.

We return by the same path or along the Rialb Valley. We find this path in the same plain of the Planell del Quer.
