The refuge, located in the Vall de Bonabé, is surrounded by the very diverse fauna and flora ot the Alt Pirineu Natural Park. It is an idyllic place to enjoy the moutains doing different activities throughout the year.
The refuge is accessed by a 4 km asphalt track from Alós d'Isi and by road 15 km from Esterri d'Aneu, or from Pla de Beret 20 km by forest track in the summer months.
